About
I build from firsthand experience.
My background spans marketing, events, sales enablement, and music production. Working inside those processes has shaped how I approach software: understand the task, find the friction, and build something useful around the people doing the work.
Today, that includes AI-assisted proposal workflows, sales knowledge tools, and event operations systems. Record Checker brings the same approach to another part of my life: music.
How I work
- 01
Understand the workflow
I work the process by hand first and measure what it costs. The RFP work started as 35 to 40 hours per proposal that I spent myself.
- 02
Build and test the solution
A working prototype runs on real tasks before anything is expanded. Both of the systems now inside our internal application began as a Claude plugin used on live work.
- 03
Refine it through use
What holds up becomes software other people use, with a person at every checkpoint. The checks that matter are enforced in code, not asked for in a prompt.
Away from the keyboard
I play four instruments — guitar, bass, drums and piano — which is where Record Checker came from: I wanted to know why a mix felt wrong, not just that it did. In winter I ski. The rest of the time there is a 110-pound bloodhound and German shepherd mix named Mookie, who is five, a rescue, and unimpressed by all of the above.
